Spring/Summer Junior Year

• Eligible students work with SCHS guidance counselor to identify appropriate colleges/universities and take SATs.

Fall Senior Year

• Applications made to targeted colleges/universities.

March Senior Year

• Application deadline for CWO Scholarship.
• SCHS panel submits finalists’ list to CWO Foundation.

April Senior Year

• CWO Foundation interviews finalists.
• Scholarship winner is chosen by the Foundation Board.

After Award

• CWO Foundation monitors performance of scholarship winners. If satisfactory, award is renewed annually.
• O’Neil scholars return to SCHS to mentor future applicants.
