Established in 2000, The Foundation is a
non-profit organization focused on community
development in Susquehanna County with its main
emphasis on encouraging the youth of the community
to pursue higher education.
It was set up by the extended members of the Williams family, whose
Susquehanna connections go back to the mid-19th century, in the name of Claire Williams O'Neil, a
former teacher in Susquehanna Schools.
